A special message to my listeners, my friends.

Thank you for a record setting fund drive for Loma Linda University Children's Hospital.  A whopping $177,060 in contributions from the hearts and pocketbooks of real KOLA listeners who, like us, care about children.  Whether you gave because of messages you heard on the air or because of the great work the hospital has done in caring for a family member or friend, we appreciate your unparalleled support.  Over a million children in the Inland Empire have a "go to" hospital, when in need.   

Over 20,000 kids spent an overnight there last year.   Another 100,000+ were treated as outpatients there.  Fifty percent of the heart transplants are done there.  Whether it's car accident victims, serious illnesses, infant care, or cancer treatments, or child abuse victims, the best medicine is available at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital.  

LLUCH is simply the best children's hospital in the world, and we're planning to help keep it on the cutting edge with the latest equipment, treatments, and physicians.  Nobody cares for kids like LLUCH, and when KOLA Nuts want to get something done, they get it done.  It is an honor to be a part of a special moment in time such as this.   Thank you again for listening, participating, donating, and caring.  ___________________
