Here's one of my favorite dip recipes.
It'll be great for your Super Bowl party!!

Mexican Layer Dip

2 avocados

Lemon juice to taste

Dash of onion salt

Dash of garlic salt

1 can (15 ounces) refried beans mashed

1/2 cup picante sauce

1~1/2 to 2 cups sour cream

1 cup grated Monterey Jack cheese

1 cup grated sharp Longhorn Cheddar cheese

3 or 4 green onions, including tops, chopped

Make guacamole by blending avocados, lemon juice, onion salt and garlic salt.  Spread in a 7-by-11-inch dish.  Make bean dip by combining refried beans and picante sauce.  Spread on top of guacamole.  Cover first two layers completely with sour cream.  Top with grated cheeses.  Garnish with chopped green onions.  Enjoy with your favorite chips or crackers.

Superbowl Chocolate Kaluha Trifle
I call this dessert Super Bowl Chocolate Kaluha Trifle because you make it in a “super bowl” (a.k.a. a punch bowl)

1 chocolate cake mix
2 large boxes instant chocolate pudding (6 serving size)
2 containers of cool whip, thawed (8 oz size)
4 Heath Bars
 Kaluha (optional – NOT!!!)

Make cake a directed on package in 2 round pans. Cool. Break 1 layer into pieces and cover bottom of serving dish (punch bowl works well). Sprinkle with Kaluha to your taste. Mix 1 pkg instant pudding as directed. Spoon over cake, covering. Top with 1 container of cool whip. Break up Heath bars (rubber mallet works well). Sprinkle 2 bars over cool whip. Repeat layers.

ENJOY!

This recipe works great too with a yellow cake mix, thawed strawberries and vanilla pudding. You can “season” the cake with light rum if desired. Use sliced strawberries, shaved chocolate or multi-colored sprinkles in place of Heath bars.

Let's call it   CHILI BEANS N BAG

Use your favorite Chili Beans recipe or buy your favorite cans of Chili Beans

Individual  lunch size bags  of the Fritos (regular corn chips)

Sharp Chedder Cheese (shred)

Can of black olives (slices)

Tabasco Pepper Sauce

At half time give them a Frito's lunch bag (they open the top of the bag), have chili beans in crock pot (warm) they can do one scoop of chili into the Frito bag, dash of Tabasco if desire, then sprinkle cheese into bag and top it with a bit of olives and give them a plastic spoon & napkin and they can eat it right out of the bag and toss away bag after.  Easy and tasty for all.
